iPhone versus Blackberry

Evolution of email friendly mobile phones has reached some new heights & mobile email technology has jumped a notch higher with the coming of the revolutionary, enigmatic path breaking earth shattering launch of iPhone. Although both have almost same functionalities they are some difference between the two that make them unique in their arena. Its official the Smart Phone wars have begun & every provider is with the same objective of being the number one iPhone. But one thing is for sure the users can’t be fooled around since they are now very informative about all the latest development so it wouldn’t happen by simply copying the features or functionality of other or existing iPhone but it would require them to bring innovative features in their products to be the next big iPhone in the market. Blackberry has an amazing texting feature called the Sure Type which make it easier for the user to type on its phone, since each key is shared for two letters & has an intelligent programming installed to check the correct spelling. There has been an initial excitement that is taking on the blackberry in its home turf is not get any simpler since the iPhone has already captured 28% of the U.S market. But the main obstacles that an iPhone faces are the software development. Since the I.T department has heavily invested on all major Blackberries & RIM servers. Even the all new Blackberry 8700g considered at point of time as the most satisfactory smart phone because of its amazing features like the all-in-one phone, contact & email tool which made life simpler since users didn’t had to remain dependent anymore on their computer or a PDA. But soon with the introduction of the apple iPhone all other smart phones got eclipsed with its many features like multi-media capabilities, user friendly & brilliant features.

The iPhone features are so simple & easy to use that the moment you start using it you would fall in love with it. If we look into the setup & data synchronization of both the phone are relatively simple.

The only difference is that the blackberry can be used the moment you get them activated in any of the AT&T store, whereas in case of an iPhone it needs to connect it to iTune for activation. Blackberry introduced the concept of emailing from phone for the first time when it was launched. Mobile Users were completely oblivious of the fact that instead of just messaging or smsing they now had the luxury of checking their email on their very own mobile phone. It created a stir in the mobile technology. Soon many other mobile manufacturers jumped on the bandwagon & started manufacturing email friendly mobile phones.
