Fly away to Frankfurt

A modern city that has kept its old world charm, Frankfurt is the prefect destination for anybody looking for a city break. Ironically enough these spectacular views are created due to a build up of air pollution in the valley the city is situated in. Frankfurt has many dedicated areas in the city dedicated to dining. Roughly translated, there is a street named “eating lane”, which houses anything from buffets and restaurants to delis and pastry cafes, so you are sure to find something you will be tempted by here. If you are looking for somewhere to spend some relaxation time be sure to check out the River Main. Even in mid summer when you will find football games being played all along the banks the area is very rarely crowded. If you are visiting during the summer try to find out in advance when the annual music festivals are taking place so you can get the most out of the Frankfurt celebrations. One thing Frankfurt is certainly not lacking in is museums. Anything from art, music, history, science, industry and music is covered by several museums. So if you have any interests or studies relating to these subjects you will have many to choose from! Be sure to check out the Stadel Museum of art. Stadel is generally considered to be the cities finest museum and holds fantastic original pieces from the 16th century all the way up to today modern art and sculpture.
